Isle of the Dead (1945)

D for Doom and I got to talking about the film “Isle of the Dead” (1945) in the comments of my last post, plus of course today is the last day of the Boris Karloff Blogathon, so I thought I’d post a few pictures. One day I may get around to actually writing about the film.

  1. Yeah, Ive posted on this film a while ago on my blog. I think Karloff is wonderful in it. One of his top 3 performances IMHO.

  2. Ah ha, I think it was your blog entry I was trying to find last night! I knew there was a post I read earlier this year about the movie. I’m adding your post to my links, thanks for reminding me.

  3. Great images from the kind of creepy, disturbing film they don’t make anymore. Scared the bejeezus outta me as a kid. Thanks, truly, for reminding me of the trauma.
